This abstracted floral was inspired by the floral arrangements from my wedding in 2015. These were a combination of flowers foraged from my parents property in rural Queensland, and from a flower market in Brisbane. I vividly remember the day before the wedding, a group of friends and family gathering in the marquee to arrange these into our table centrepieces. It was a wonderful & joyful communal act. The resulting painting is a joyful burst of colour that is a true statement piece.
