This fun little painting is a colourful still life that will have you thinking that cocktail hour can’t come soon enough. I love to paint intricate glassware, both for the challenge, and the sophisticated air they exude. These whiskey glasses proved to be oh so fun to capture, the geometric lines counterbalanced nicely by the organic form of the lemons. The combination of the yellow, pinky hues in the glass and the teal background really sing to me in this composition.
